Meet Mia
Fun Fact: Mia lives at home with two outdoor cats. When relaxing, you can find all three of them cuddled up together in the sun.
Mia's Approach
Mia is a yellow lab who has received training and certification as an emotional support animal through Sherlock Dog Training. That means she has passed all requirements needed, allowing her to provide emotional support and comfort during therapy sessions. She is not a service animal who typically performs certain tasks. Rather, her presence and sweet demeanor bring comfort and a gentleness to the therapeutic experience. Mia loves to love and is well-trained to keep her distance if a client is uncomfortable or snuggle up if the client is enjoying her presence.
