My Approach
My name is Tiffany and I am currently licensed by the state of Nebraska as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. I continued my education with earning a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University. I am DBT certified and have taken many additional trainings, as I like staying aware of the latest research, and treatment methods to provide my clients with the most relevant resources to help them succeed.
My background in mental health includes experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in acute inpatient , partial programs and outpatient mental health facilities since 2013. I provide therapy to clients with a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, anger management, low self-esteem, substance abuse and trauma.
Most importantly, I recognize that life's struggles can be overwhelming and challenging. My goal is to provide clients and families with practical solutions and tools that can apply in all aspects of life. It is my belief that most people have the ability to grow and build on their own strengths; however, at times, they need empowerment and encouragement. Therapy is a collaborative process that helps clients learn, grow, and make positive changes that can result in a more fulfilling life.
