Hey, I’m Katelyn.
Hey, I’m Katelyn. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are—messy, overwhelmed, figuring it out, or having your shit together for once. Whatever version of you walks through the door is welcome here.
My style is laid-back, down-to-earth, and centered around creating a space where you don't have to filter yourself. You don't need to worry about saying the "right" thing or pretending everything's okay when it's not. Life is hard enough without feeling like you have to put on a show.
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps us stop wasting so much damn energy fighting our thoughts and emotions. Instead, we'll learn how to make room for the hard stuff while focusing on what actually matters to you. Together, we'll build practical skills that help you navigate life's ups and downs in a way that feels authentic—not perfect.
Starting therapy can be intimidating, and I get that. My goal is to make our sessions feel more like a real conversation than an interrogation. No judgment. No pressure. Just a space where you can be yourself.
When I'm not in the office, you'll usually find me outside, spending time with my family, or hanging out with my dog. I believe some of life's best therapy happens on a trail, around a campfire, or with the people (and pets) who make you feel most like yourself—and I try to bring that same grounded, genuine energy into every session.
